I was told to 'confirm my bill' what does this mean and how do I do it?
If you have a zero balance or credit balance because your fees are paid by financial aid or another outside source, you have to confirm your bill. This process is MSU's way of verifying that you are truly attending classes for the semester before we issue refund checks to students. Log into MY INFO to confirm your bill.

Where can I find how much I owe the University?
MSU now utilizes a paperless billing system. Students may log in the secure area
of
MY INFO and select Electronic Billing and Payment. Students may also
setup an authorized payer, such as a parent, to receive and pay bills
electronically from the Quikpay button on this web page.
How do I pay my bill?

check, credit card or cash at the Cashiers’ window on the first floor of Montana

How often do you bill during the semester?
We will be sending e-mail reminders to your email address in
MYMSU Portal of balances due monthly throughout each semester.
Why doesn't my bill itemize better?
If students click on the button at the bottom of the web bill ('Show Detail'), students will be able to see all individual tuition and fee amounts.
Are there payment plans offered and how much do they cost?
MSU does offer a deferred installment payment plan. An installment loan application must be submitted for each semester and each application has a $30 non-refundable processing fee. For more information and the link to the application, please click here.
When are my deferred installment payments due?
Pay your first installment according to established fee payment procedures. The second installment is due October 1st for Fall semester and March 1st for Spring semester. The third installment is due November 1st for Fall semester and April 1st for Spring semester.
How do I waive my health insurance fee?
Students must log into the secure area of MY INFO. Then click on Student Services -->Student Health Services to check your Health Insurance Status and view instructions to waive insurance.
What is FERPA and how does it affect me?
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of
student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program
of the U.S. Department of Education. Please refer to the U.S. Department of Education web site for more
detailed information. Generally, schools must have written permission from the eligible student in order
to release any information from a student's education record. A consent form to release your student education record can be found here.
